Department Profile[]
Established in 1961, the West Iredell Fire Department is in Western Iredell County (Shiloh Community). The district is 51.3 square miles in area with a population of just under 8,000. The department is a combination department with volunteer and part time paid firefighters that provide fire, rescue, and medical first responder services. The department averages approximately 850 calls a year.
