History[]
On November 4, 2014, voters approved the merger of Prosser Fire Department and Benton County Fire Protection District No. 3 with a combined 1,537 "yes" votes and 1,320 "no" votes. The West Benton Regional Fire Authority was officially formed on January 1, 2015.[1]
