The Wenatchee Valley Regional Fire Authority operates as the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department.
History[]
On August 2, 2022, voters approved the merger of Chelan County Fire District 1 and Douglas County Fire District 2 with a combined 11,404 "yes" votes and 8,426 "no" votes.[1][2] The merger was effective on September 30, 2022, forming the Wenatchee Valley Regional Fire Authority.
