Weis Fire Equipment is a fabricator of wildland fire apparatus, as well as the Draft Commander 3000 mobile fire pump testing and training unit. Weis is also a dealer for Toyne fire apparatus.
History[]
Weis was started as American Fire Equipment in 1963 and change its name to Weis Fire Equipment in the mid 1980s. The business was sold in 1990.
In 1995 business was re-started as Weis Fire and Safety Equipment with Gary as CEO, his wife, Char, as CFO and Mike as President.
In 2019 Gary and Char retired and Mike partnered the company with B12 Capital Partners.
