So General had a production agreement with Rosenbauer in 1995. When did they stop applying their own logo to apparatus and move to all Rosebauer badging?

When did they stop being General Safety Equip. Corp. and rename/re-incorporate as Rosenbauer Minnesota LLC?

Thanks

Looks like 2003. That's the year the Commander chassis was introduced and from looking at photos, it was around that time that the General and Central States badging disappeared and Rosenbauer logos started to appear.
This is part of a broader question, and that is whether or how should this be included in the rosters? The same could apply to ALF (RD Murray, Becker, etc), E-One (Saulsbury, Superior) and eventually Spartan ER / Smeal and maybe REV Group if they decide to rebrand. I've leaned toward simply saying Rosenbauer but the extra info is useful if available. And it hasn't always been consistent - Hub built ALF trucks generally show both ALF and Hub.
As for how, it could be entered as 2015 Freightliner M2 106 / Rosenbauer South Dakota. There are some listings that say Rosenbauer/Central States or Rosenbauer/General as shorthand but those are historic names. Uzbek (talk) 21:52, May 29, 2020 (UTC)
