US Tanker is a fire apparatus builder located in Burlington, Iowa. The company, formed in 1989, started with elliptical-type tankers, then expanded to include pumpers, brush trucks and rescues.
US Tanker was acquired by the Smeal Fire Apparatus Company in 2014. Smeal and its subsidiaries was acquired by Spartan in 2017.[1]
