Area Served[]
The Turlock Fire Department (TFD) provides fire protection and emergency medical services for the City of Turlock, located in California's Central Valley in Stanislaus County. The city is thought to be named after the village of Turlough in County Mayo, Ireland. Turlock is bordered by the unincorporated community of Keyes to the northwest; the unincorporated community of Denair to the northeast; the unincorporated community of Cortez to the southeast; the unincorporated communities of Delhi and Hilmar in Merced County to the south; and the City of Patterson to the west.
