Fire Stations[]

Station Number Station Name Address In Service Notes
T-1 South End 7007 Capitol Boulevard 1973-2000 Funded through Federal Revenue Sharing.[7] Built as Fire Station T-2, which opened on October 27, 1973. Upon implementation of career staffing, the station was converted into the department's headquarters, being expanded in 1987 to accomodate the large number of career firefighters and administrative personel which the station was not originally designed to contain. The station was replaced in 2000, and is now used by Tumwater Parks & Facilities Maintenance.
T-2 North End 215 North 2nd Avenue SW 1939-1995 Built as Fire Station T-1 in 1939 to house both the Tumwater City Hall and the Tumwater Fire Department. Upon implementation of career staffing as the South End station, the North End station was renumbered to Fire Station T-2.
