Overview[]
The Town of Canton Fire and EMS serves Canton, Connecticut, and is comprised of 3 companies: Canton Street, Collinsville, and North Canton. Originally formed as 3 separate volunteer companies, the stations joined together and unified under one command structure & department in 1996. Their response area is mostly rural and residential, while also including former the mill village of Collinsville, as well as part of the busy US Route 44 (and the associated commercial properties).
