History[]
In 2021 the Mid-Valley Fire Protection District was incorporated and took over all funding and operation of fire services in the mid-valley region of Lincoln County.This included a contract for service with the Town of Thayne. On Jul. 10,2022 Star Valley Ranch signed a contract with the Mid-Valley Fire District to provide fire and EMS service.
