The Telescop boom was an aerial waterway developed in the late 1970s, and manufactured by Pierreville Fire Trucks. When Pierreville declared bankruptcy in 1985 production of the Telescop was taken over by Pierre Thibault (Canada) Ltd.

The boom was available in a variety of lengths from 50 to 85 feet, both with or without a ladder. A few units were also built with a platform/bucket at the end of the boom.
