The SL 100 is a mid-mount aerial manufactured by the Sutphen Corporation.

  • Chassis - Monarch tandem rear axle w/ 56", 62", 73" long cab options
  • Roof - Flat, 10" half, 15" half-raised options with 36" x 59" diamond-plate cab roof
  • Axles - Front up to 25,500 lbs, rear up to 48,000 lbs
  • Bumper - 12" standard, optional 6", 18", 24", or 30" extension options; with optional steel or steel channel, painted
  • Engine - Cummins L9 400 or 450HP, Cummins X12 425, or Cummins X15 600HP
  • Transmission - Allison Gen 5 EVS 3000 or EVS 4000, depending on the engine chosen
  • Electrical - Point-to-Point or Multiplex wiring systems
  • Wheelbase - Standard 230" (w/ 56" long cab)
  • Pump - Hale, Waterous 1500 to 2000 gpm, or none; with black vinyl, brushed aluminum, or mirrored finish panel
  • Tank - Up to 500 gallons, poly or none
  • Body - Stainless steel, huck-bolted to the chassis frame, with 8 different configurations & up to 300 cubic ft. of usable compartment space with 48" or 56" high-side compartments
  • Aerial - Five-section, aluminum-alloy huck-bolted box boom, 35mph wind speed rating, 1500gpm monitor (pinnable to the fifth aerial section), 500lb wet tip-load, and 1,000lb dry tip-load; and cables, hoses, and waterway contained within
  • Outriggers - H-style, with an 18-foot jack spread & short-jacking capabilities
  • Aerial operating range - -5 to +75 degrees
