Strathroy-Caradoc was formed through amalgamation in 2001. The Strathroy Fire Department and Caradoc Township Fire Department were merged to form the new fire service.

Future Plans[]
Construction started on a replacement Strathroy station in February 2024. The new building will be located adjacent to the existing station, which will be torn down once its complete.
