History[]
Established in 1976, the Staffordsville / Johnson County Fire & Rescue Squad was a joint organization that had coverage of the Staffordsville area when it came to fires, and a county wide coverage when it came to search & rescue operations. The department was disbanded in the mid 2010’s. The station was absorbed into Oil Springs Fire & Rescue as Station 2.
