The Diamond was a custom chassis offered by Spartan Motors from 1989 to 2010.

It was re-engineered, re-designed and re-introduced at FDIC Indianapolis, 2004.[1] The Diamond cab was introduced to fill a middle-market niche. It had all the features of the Spartan Gladiator, but with a lower range of engine options. The cab was 96 inches wide with a narrower engine tunnel. The Diamond chassis also featured:

  • Up to a 400 horsepower engine
  • GVWR from 35,600 to 81,500 lbs.
  • Front service access via grill and headlamp modules
  • Numerous cab models and roof styles available
