Overview[]
South Branch Emergency Services provides pre-hospital emergency care and specialized technical rescue services to northern Hunterdon County, maintaining the same response areas as its former departments. With the merging of these departments, South Branch Emergency Services has a roster of over 150 active volunteer and staff members.
History[]
South Branch Emergency Services was formed after the Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad and the High Bridge Emergency Squad merged on July 1, 2020. It then merged with the Hampton Emergency Squad on January 1, 2022, expanding their response jurisdiction into Hampton, Glen Gardner and Bethlehem Townships.
