Service de Sécurité Incendie de la MRC de Montcalm

History[]

The Service de Sécurité incendie de la MRC de Montcalm was created in April 2010 after the amalgamation of the St-Esprit and St-Roch-de-l'Achigan fire departments. Today, three municipalities are protected by this service : Saint-Alexis (parish and village), Saint-Esprit and Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan. On January 4th 2021, Saint-Jacques was integrated into the fire department. On January 1st 2023, Saint-Calixte was integrated into the fire department. On January 18th 2023, Sainte-Julienne was integrated into the fire department.
