Service de Sécurité Incendie de Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval

History

Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval is a city (population 8500) in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec. Located just a few kilometres northeast of Quebec City and part of the MRC de la Jacques-Cartier. The Service de Sécurité Incendie de Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval was created in 1954. Nowadays the SSI responds to over 400 calls a year, including medical first responder calls and mutual aid calls in the adjacent town of Lac-Beauport.
