History[]
The Service des incendies de Saint-Nicolas ceased to exist as of January 1st 2002 with the amalgamation of the city of Saint-Nicolas with the City of Lévis. The Cities of Saint-Nicolas and Bernières amalgamated in 1994, the former Régie intermunicipale d'incendie de Bernières/Saint-Rédempteur joined the fire department which ran under the name Service des incendies de Bernières-Saint-Nicolas for two years, before the city changed its name back to Saint-Nicolas.
