History[]
The Service des incendies de Saint-Lambert ceased to exist in 2002 with the amalgamation of the city of Saint-Lambert with the City of Longueuil. In 2006, the citizens of Saint-Lambert voted to reincorporate as a separate city but fire protection remains the responsibility of the amalgamated Longueuil department.
