Seguin Township also provides fire protection for portions of the Township of The Archipelago, which does not have its own fire department.
History[]
Seguin Township was formed in 1998 through amalgamation. Four fire departments were merged to form the new fire service, namely the Christie Township Fire Department, Foley Township Fire Department, Humphrey Township Fire Department and Rosseau Fire Department.
