Beacon falls antique engine

The Suburbanite was a line of pumpers made by Seagrave in the 1920s and 1930s. Introduced in 1923, it was a counterpart to the larger Metropolite. As the name suggests, the Suburbanite was made as a more compact & affordable option for fire departments in smaller towns and villages.

  • Engine - 70 hp Continental six-cylinder, later upgraded to 90 hp in 1926
  • Transmission - 3 speed Brown-Lipe manual
  • Pump - 350 GPM, later upgraded to 500 GPM in 1926
