History[]

In 1967, Saint John expanded its boundaries to incorporate the City of Lancaster and a portion of the Parish of Simonds into the city. The Simonds Fire Department's station became Saint John Station 4 while was amalgamated with Saint John in 1967, while the Lancaster Fire Department's hall became Station 7. The Simonds FD was reformed in 1976 to protect the remaining portion of the parish.
