Sables-Spanish Rivers Township Fire Department

History

The Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers was formed in 1998 as an amalgamation of the Towns of Massey and Webbwood, the Township of the Spanish River and surrounding municipally-unorganized townships. The new fire service consisted of four amalgamated fire departments:

• Massey Fire Department
• Shakespeare Township Fire Team
• Township of the Spanish River Fire Department
• Webbwood Fire Department
