The RTX is an all-electric custom chassis developed by Rosenbauer, introduced in 2021. The first unit was built & delivered for the Los Angeles Fire Department, with dozens more now in service worldwide.

  • Pump Capacity - 750-1500gpm normal or high-pressure (electric or auxiliary power)
  • Tank Capacity - 500-750 gallons
  • Hosebed Capacity - Up to 1000' of 5" hose and up to 1000' of 2.5" hose
  • Powerplant - AWD dual electric motors making 360 kW at peak / 260 kW continuous (Equivalent to 490 HP/350 HP)
  • Batteries - 2 Volvo Penta batteries totaling 132 kWh of power
  • Auxiliary Backup Power - 3.0 Liter / 300HP / 6 Cylinder BMW Clean Diesel engine
  • Braking - 4 stage ABS electronic regenerative braking w/ 17" disc brakes
  • Suspension - Hendrickson adjustable air suspension with 4 modes:
    • 7" Operation mode
    • 10" Driving mode
    • 14" Off Road mode
    • 19" Wading mode
