The Commander is a custom chassis manufactured by Rosenbauer America. There are 2 different models; the Commander 3000 (medium duty) and Commander 4000 (heavy duty) series. The Commander was originally introduced in 2003 as a facelift onto a Spartan chassis, before being reintroduced and redesigned as a completely custom chassis in the early 2010s.
