R.K. Aerials was an aerial ladder assembly manufacturer located in Fremont, Nebraska. The company was renamed Rosenbauer Aerials, LLC after its purchase.
History[]
R.K. Aerials was founded by Rob & Pam Kreikemeier in 1988 to make aerial assemblies for Maxim Fire Apparatus. When Maxim ceased operations, R.K. found other customers, including Central States Fire Apparatus and Tibotrac. In 1995, R.K. moved to a larger manufacturing facility, and they introduced their first aerial platforms the following year.
Rosenbauer America purchased R.K. in 2000, but the company continues to build aerial assemblies for other apparatus manufacturers such as HME Ahrens-Fox and Carl Thibault Fire Trucks.
