Department Overview[]
The Pleasant Hill Fire Department is the primary provider of fire suppression, rescue and EMS to the city of Pleasant Hill and much of rural southeastern Polk County. It is a paid-per-call department based out of one station.
In January 2021, the PHFD relocated from its long time home at 5151 Maple Drive to a new facility at 6825 Martha L. Miller Drive as part of a new Pleasant Hill Public Safety complex in coordination with PHPD. The former firehouse remains in government possession, and is currently used for storing spare and specialty apparatus until they can be relocated.
