Overview[]
The Ossining Fire Department is an all volunteer organization with 70 active members who protect a population of approximately 28,000 residents over an area of almost 7 square miles, half of which is water. Ossining borders the eastern shore of the Hudson River and is home to the infamous "Sing Sing" state prison.
