Osco Truck & Tank Sales is an American fire apparatus manufacturer located in Orion, Illinois. They build and refurbish custom tank trucks for fire departments and municipalities, as well as oil, construction, septic & fertilizer companies.

History[]

In 1999 Tom Weber establishes Osco Tank & Truck Sales Inc. in Orion, Illinois. Initially specializing in refurbishing tandem trucks and mounting stainless steel tanks for liquid fertilizer hauling. As interest from fire departments grew, Osco expanded it's reach into fire apparatus, developing an in-house line of tankers and tenders and establishing facilities to cater towards that.

In January 2000, Jed Weber joins the company as Sales Manager, helping to steer product development toward firefighting applications.

On March 14, 2005, Osco Tank & Truck Sales Inc. obtained its USDOT operating authority, formalizing its status as a national carrier and manufacturer in fire apparatus..

In the period between 2016–2018, the company formalized its fire apparatus lineup—including the Dominator and Commander Series and the Fusion Vacuum Tanker—showcased in industry spotlights.
