
History[]
On November 3, 1970, all lands encompassed within Grays Harbor County Fire Protection District No. 13 were incorporated under the City of Ocean Shores. The district was dissolved on February 1, 1971.[1] The Ocean Shores Fire Department was then formed, funded by the new municpality.
