Firefighting Wiki

History[]

North Frontenac FD was formed in 1998 through amalgamation. Two fire departments were merged to create the NFFD:

Ward One of North Frontenac is protected by the Kaladar-Barrie Fire Department, which is operated jointly with Addington Highlands. The "Barrie" in the name refers to Barrie Township, which also became part of North Frontenac.
