North Dumfries Township Fire Department

History

Prior to regional restructuring, the Village of Ayr and much of the Township of North Dumfries were serviced by the Ayr Fire Department. Both municipalities amalgamated in 1973 to become North Dumfries Township and the department's name was changed.
