History[]
The City of Mount Pearl, the second-largest city in Newfoundland & Labrador, is located southwest of St. John's. The City operated its own fire department, but fire protection services were contracted to the St. John's Regional Fire Department in the 1990s. The station and equipment were transferred to SJRFD.
