The Mount Holly Fire Department provides fire protection and first responders services for the City of Mount Holly, NC. History[]
The Catawba Heights Volunteer Fire Department, formed in 1954, was merged with the MHFD in 2000. The area covered by Catawba Heights had been annexed by Mount Holly in 1989, but the volunteer department covered the area for several years after.
