History[]

The Moapa Valley Fire District was established in 1965, with services provided by the Clark County Fire Department until it separated in 2018; with the majority of their fleet now made up of the former CCFD apparatus. At that time, MVFD appointed its first fire chief and made it a full-time position in 2020.
