Minden Hills has mutual aid/automatic aid agreements with the City of Kawartha Lakes Fire & Rescue Service, Lake of Bays Township Fire Department, Algonquin Highlands Fire Services and Dysart et al Fire Department.
History[]
Minden Hills was formed in 2001 through the amalgamation of the Township of Lutterworth, the Township of Snowdon and the Township of Anson, Hindon and Minden. Prior to amalgamation, Anson, Hindon and Minden operated the fire department.
