Medic Master was an American ambulance manufacturer located in Sanford, Florida.
Aero Products Corp. was formed in Sanford in 1979. The company was initially a supplier of medical products and branched out into ambulance and emergency vehicle distributing. Aero started building ambulances, rescue trucks and other vehicles under the Rescue Master name.
Aero was acquired by American LaFrance in 1998 and renamed Medic Master. ALF built ambulances until 2008, when it closed the operation after filing for bankruptcy protection. The plant in Sanford was shut down and 140 employees laid off.
