The B-Series was a custom chassis made by the Maxim Motor Company, from 1928 to 1932. It was similar in design and visual appearance to the prior C & M Series, which it replaced, but with improved mechanical components.
Production & Specifications[]
The B-Series had several sub-variations (that shared a few common features, like 6-cylinder/125hp Buda engines and Hale or Maxim rotary-gear pumps), including:
- The B-50 - 500gpm pump
- The B-60 - 600gpm pump
- The B-75 - 750gpm pump
- The B-10 - 1,000gpm pump
- The BHL - smaller city-service ladder truck
- The GHL - larger city-service ladder truck
