The Paragon is a pumphouse configuration pioneered by Maxi Metal. Originally launched as the VIO in 2010, it reduces the footprint of the pumphouse while still using a split-shaft design pump. The Paragon configuration isolates the control panel from the connected hoses, allowing a safer environment for the operator.

Similar to the Pierce PUC design, it allows for additional compartment space and the condensed pump area also shortens the wheelbase, allowing for an improved turning radius.
