Overview[]

The Marlborough Volunteer Fire Department serves the Town of Marlborough, Connecticut. Located 15 miles southeast of Hartford, Marlborough is primarily a rural & residential community, with a population of 5,700. Route 2, a major freeway, roughly bisects the town, and Lake Terramuggus provides various recreational activities. Marlborough's firefighters also provide ambulance service to the town through the Roy B. Pettengill Ambulance Association. MVFD is dispatched by the Tolland County Mutual Aid Fire Service as Department 17.
