Marion Body Works Inc. is an American fire apparatus manufacturer located in Marion, Wisconsin.

History[]

Founded in 1905, Marion built commercial truck and van bodies before branching into fire rescue bodies in the mid-1960s. At the same time, the company began building specialized airport and industrial bodies for Ansul Chemical Company trucks. Production was expanded to include pumpers and tankers in the 1970s. Marion continues to build a full line of fire apparatus on both commercial and custom (Spartan and HME) chassis. In October 2022, Marion opened a new secondary manufacturing facility in Shawano, Wisconsin (incidentally, the former home of defunct fire apparatus manufacturer, 3-D). [1]
