The MC-Series was a urban distribution chassis manufactured by Mack Trucks Inc. Mack produced 756 fire trucks using this chassis between 1972 and 1990, when Mack stopped making fire apparatus. Its' sister model, the MR-Series, continued production until 2007; when the MC & MR Series were consolidated, redesigned, and reintroduced as the Mack TerraPro line of trucks, which are still in production today.
