The CF-Series was a custom fire chassis manufactured by Mack Trucks Inc. 3,849 trucks were produced between 1967 and 1990, when Mack stopped offering custom chassis for fire apparatus (Mack stopped building complete trucks in 1984, but offered the CF (and other) chassis to other builders until 1990). The CF-Series was very popular, being widely used by thousands of departments across the US and Canada, with some even going as far as New Zealand.
