The M35 Series is the 2nd generation of the often referred to "Deuce and a Half" military truck.

M35

The M35 cargo truck is a long-lived 2½-ton 6x6 cargo truck and chassis initially used by the United States Army and subsequently utilized by many nations around the world. Over time it evolved into a family of specialized vehicles. It inherited the nickname "Deuce and a Half" from an older 2½-ton truck, the World War II GMC CCKW.

The series was built by REO, Kaiser, Studebaker and AM General from 1950 to 1999 . It was preceded by the GMC CCKW. It was followed by the M809 Series.

The M135 variant of the GMC M35 was a cargo / personnel truck that featured a 180-inch wheelbase with a single-wheel rear tandem and 11:00x20 size tires, necessitating a wheel well in the cargo bed for clearance. It was used in small numbers by the US Army, but saw wide use by the Canadian Army.
