Department Profile[]
Labrador City Fire Rescue (LCFR) is a composite municipal fire department that provides fire and rescue services to the community of Labrador City, and approximately 130 kilometres of Route 500 (Trans-Labrador Highway) from the Quebec Border to the Ranger Lake Highway Depot. The department is comprised of a full-time fire chief, a fire protection officer, seven full-time firefighters and approximately 45 on-call firefighters.
