Department Profile[]
Lasalle operates a composite department, consisting of a full-time chief, deputy chief, four captains and six firefighters, supplemented by 30 paid-on-call captains and firefighters.
History[]
Originally known as Sandwich West, the town changed its name to Lasalle in 1991. A portion of Sandwich West was annexed to Windsor in 1968, and one fire station assumed by the Windsor Fire Department.
