Amiral Trucks[]
In 2016, Pierce Manufacturing of Appleton, Wisconsin and Maxi Métal (1983) Inc. of Saint-Georges, Québec announced a partnership in which Canadian Pierce dealers would act as dealers for Maxi Métal.
L'Arsenal and Maxi created a separate partnership. The two companies designed a series of four different models of basic pumper/tankers, built by Maxi Métal and sold by L'Arsenal. Model names begin with AC, which stands for Autopompe-citerne (Pumper/tanker), followed by a number representing the tank capacity and another number representing the number of doors on the truck. For example, the AC1500-2 would have a 1500 gallon tank and two doors. All trucks are equipped with a Hale Q-Flo 1050 IGPM pump. The models are:
- AC1500-2, mounted on a Freightliner M2 106, 2-door
- AC1400-4, mounted on a Freightliner M2 106, 4-door
- AC2500-2, mounted on a Freightliner M2 112, 2-door
- AC2500-4, mounted on a Freightliner M2 112, 4-door
