History[]
In 2000, the Town of Kenora amalgamated with the adjoining towns of Jaffray Melick and Keewatin to form the new City of Kenora. The Jaffray Melick Fire Department and Keewatin Fire Department were merged with Kenora Fire & Emergency Services.
