Kaiser Motors (formerly Kaiser-Frazer) was a joint venture automobile manufacturer. It was established in August 1945 by the Henry J. Kaiser Company and Graham-Paige Motors Corp.
The company had manufacturing facilities in Willon Run, Michigan. Between 1946 and 1948 it produced over 300,000 cars.
The name was changed from Kaiser-Frazer Corp. to Kaiser Motors Corp. in 1953, the same year a deal to purchase Willys-Overland Corporation was worked out. In late 1953 and early 1954 the Willow Run operation was shut down and production moved to the Willys facility in Toledo, Ohio.
The last Kaisers were produced during the 1955 model year. After the production of Kaiser and Willys passenger cars ended, the production of Willys Jeeps in Toledo continued.
The company changed its name to Kaiser Jeep Corporation in 1963.
